Testnet Q&A
There are thousands of participants on our testnet now. Since it is just a testnet, there will certainly be some flaws. We will fix bugs and make improvements in Round 2.
Here is an article about the testnet questions review, please check the answers of each question.
Q: Why I can’t claim test tokens?
A: Check if you have devnet SOL to pay gas.
Select devnet and click REQUEST AIRDROP to get devnet SOL.
Q: Why transaction failed?
A: First, devnet has a limited request frequency for a single server. And its TPS is incomparable with mainnet Solana. But the team has improved the function of mint and burn, now the probability of transaction failure is reduced.
Second, check whether the amount you want to mint/burn is beyond your balance.
Q: The max button isn’t working. Trade section isn’t working.
A: The function of max button isn’t completed now. Trade function won’t be open on devnet, it will be available when mainnet launch.
Q: Why we have different balances in mint section and “my investment”?
A: There might have duplicate accounts if you APPROVE twice when sypool is helping you create a SAP account.
The balance shown in mint section is the total amount of the duplicate accounts, but “my investment” only displays the balance of one of these accounts.
Here is the solution: (1)Find the account whose balance is shown in my investment. (2)Send the balance of the other duplicate accounts to it.
For example: I have two same accounts, the total balance is 210, but only 200 shown in my investment. So I need to send the 10 to another account.
Q: Why can’t farm?
A: The farm function was down for a while but we have fixed it now.
Q: Why can’t claim farm rewards?
A: This function isn’t completed. We will complete it after TGE.
We have dropped farming rewards, stakers can claim rewards now, the APY is about 30%.
The next drop will on Aug 29.
Q: Why can’t mint Quant SAP, Quant SAP-R1 and R2?
A: They are close-end. They will be closed during workdays and reopen on weekends.
Q: About APY and leaderboard.
A: We are updating the path to get data. At first, we needed to request data from Solana Devnet. It took much time and the data could not be real-time due to the limited TPS.
So we found another way. We are setting up a database on the serve to store data. Once established, it will be faster and easier to get real-time data. Then we will update the APY and leaderboard.
